Giveaway Rules

Key Terms

UEFA	Union des Associations Européennes de Football, a Swiss association that is located at 46 route de Genève, 1260 Nyon 2, Switzerland.

Territory	Any territory of UEFA’s fifty-five (55) member national associations (except Russia) and the United States.
Age Requirements	18 years old or over.
Entry Requirements	To enter the Giveaway to win the Prizes You must: Visit the UEFA Platform;  Click on the “Enter now” button on the landing page; and Register or log in to Your MyUEFA account.
Prizes	The Grand Prize shall consist of: One (1) return flight* in economy class for each of the Winner and one (1) guest from the Winner’s home destination (with such guest also flying from the same airport as the Winner) to Bilbao, Spain (host city of the 2025 UEL Final); Two (2) tickets for the 2025 UEL Final (for the Winner and guest); and Accommodation for two (2) people (the Winner and guest) for two (2) nights** in a hotel chosen by UEFA. The Secondary Prize shall consist of: One (1) return flight* in economy class for each of the Winner and one (1) guest from the Winner’s home destination (with such guest also flying from the same airport as the Winner) to Wrocław, Poland (host city of the 2025 UECL Final); Two (2) tickets for the 2025 UECL Final (for the Winner and guest); and Accommodation for two (2) people (the Winner and guest) for two (2) nights** in a hotel chosen by UEFA. The Third Prize shall be any one (1) of the following items: A signed shirt from the 2024 UEL Final A signed shirt from the 2024 UECL Final A UEL 2024/25 official match ball A UECL 2024/25 official match ball A signed boot from a UEL player   To be eligible for the Grand Prize, Participants must meet the following criteria: be eligible to travel and meet any travel and local entry and other legal requirements (including being permitted to attend UEFA competition matches), and provide proof of such eligibility, e.g. valid passport and/or travel visa, to UEFA within forty-eight (48) hours upon request by UEFA; and be available to travel to and from Bilbao, Spain (the host city of the 2025 UEL Final) between 20 May 2025 and 22 May 2025. To be eligible for the Secondary Prize, Participants must meet the following criteria: be eligible to travel and meet any travel and local entry and other legal requirements (including being permitted to attend UEFA competition matches), and provide proof of such eligibility, e.g. valid passport and/or travel visa, to UEFA within forty-eight (48) hours upon request by UEFA; and be available to travel to and from Wrocław, Poland (the host city of the 2025 UECL Final) between 27 May 2025 and 29 May 2025.   * Depending on where the winner is located, UEFA may, in its sole discretion, substitute a return flight for a return train journey from a station in a reasonable proximity to the winner’s home destination, to be determined by UEFA. ** Depending on transport availability, the winner and guest may be required to travel on alternative dates, in which case additional nights’ accommodation may be provided by UEFA, to be determined at UEFA’s sole discretion.
Number of Winners	A total of sixty-five (65) Winners*, of which there shall be: one (1) Grand Prize Winner; one (1) Secondary Prize Winner; and sixty-three (63) Third Prize Winners: A signed shirt from the 2024 UEL Final: five (5) A signed shirt from the 2024 UECL Final: six (6) A UEL 2024/25 official match ball: thirty (30) A UECL 2024/25 official match ball: twenty (20) A signed boot from a UEL player: two (2)   *Participants that meet the Entry Requirements are eligible to win multiple Third Prizes. Therefore, the Number of Winners may be less than the number of winning entries.

1. Organisation of the Giveaway

   1. These rules (the “Rules") apply to the Giveaway of the Prizes to be undertaken on the UEFA Platform. The Giveaway is run by UEFA.

   2. The Giveaway is open from the Start Date to the Closing Date (inclusive) on the UEFA Platform. UEFA reserves the right to alter or remove the Giveaway at its sole discretion. All competition entries must be received by UEFA by the Closing Date and any entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

2. Conditions of participation

   1. Entry to and participation in the Giveaway is free and without obligation of purchase.

   2. The Giveaway is open to residents in the Territory with the exception of UEFA members of staff and members of staff of companies involved in making available the Giveaway.

   3. Every application to participate in the Giveaway must be made by a natural person (“Participant”, “You”, “Your”).

   4. Participants must meet the Age Requirements to enter the Giveaway. UEFA will not knowingly allow children under the age of eighteen (18) to enter the Giveaway. Access may be obtained and used only by individual, independent persons who meet the Age Requirements (or at least of legal age in their country of residence if such age exceeds eighteen (18)).

   5. By entering and participating in the Giveaway, You are bound by the Rules and the Website Terms and Conditions and You confirm that you have read and expressly accepted the Rules and the Website Terms and Conditions.

   6. You are responsible for ensuring that Your participation is made in compliance with all applicable laws of Your country of residence, including with respect to the acceptance of the Prizes. UEFA shall bear no responsibility for entries which are not compliant (for any reason whatsoever) with the relevant applicable laws.

   7. In respect of Your participation in the Giveaway and Your access to and use of the UEFA Platforms, You are required to fill in personal details. You agree to (i) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about Yourself (including as part of the access process); and (ii) maintain and promptly update Your personal data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.

   8. If You provide, or UEFA has reasonable grounds to suspect that You have provided, any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or UEFA otherwise reasonably considers that You have failed to comply with any provisions of these rules, UEFA has the right to immediately suspend or terminate Your access and refuse You access to any and all current or future use of the UEFA Platforms (or any portion thereof).

3. Mechanics of the Giveaway, Prizes and selection of the Winners

   1. Mechanics

      1. To enter the Giveaway to win the Prizes, You must fulfil the Entry Requirements.

      2. You may enter the Giveaway once per week. The number of weeks a Participant enters the Giveaway will be the number of times the Participant will be entered into the draw to win the Grand Prize or Secondary Prize, and the number of chances to win a Third Prizes.

      3. Participants that meet the Entry Requirements are eligible to win multiple Third Prizes. Therefore, the Number of Winners may be less than the number of winning entries (the “Prize Winners” or “Winners”).

   2. Prizes

      1. Participants shall have the chance to win one of sixty-five (65) Prizes.

   3. Selection of the Winners

      1. The Grand Prize Winner and the Secondary Prize Winner will be selected by UEFA at random from the valid entries after the Closing Date.

      2. The Third Prize Winners will be selected at random and instantly notified upon submitting their entry on the UEFA Platform.

      3. The Winners will each be contacted by UEFA via email at the email address associated with their MyUEFA account. The Winner of each of the Grand Prize and Secondary Prize will be requested to provide evidence of eligibility to travel (either a valid passport, travel visa or other travel documentation). The Third Prize Winners will be asked to provide their delivery address and contact number in order to receive the Prize.

      4. UEFA will notify the Winners within seventy-two (72) hours from the date of the Winner’s selection. UEFA shall have no liability for a Winner’s failure to receive notices due to any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to Winners’ spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected Winner fails to respond, cannot be contacted, is ineligible and/or fails to claim the Prize within forty-eight (48) hours from the time the Prize notification was sent, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected by UEFA. 

      5. The designation of the Winners will happen once their eligibility for the relevant Prize has been verified.

      6. UEFA reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the Winner from participation in the Giveaway and receipt of any of the Prizes if such Winner and/or a Winner’s guest:

         1. fails to comply with the directions of UEFA or any other companies associated with the Prize;

         2. fails to comply with any applicable third-party terms and conditions;

         3. acts in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public; and/or

         4. is anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others.

      7. The decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

4. General

   1. The Prizes are as stated in any messaging or promotions advertising the Giveaway. No cash or other alternative will be offered by UEFA.

   2. Except for the delivery cost of sending the Prize to the Winners, any and all other costs and expenses involved in claiming a Prize are the responsibility of the Winners. Any and all applicable taxes or duties in relation to the Prize are the responsibility of the Winners.

   3. UEFA will not accept responsibility for Giveaway entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, delayed in transit or otherwise not received by UEFA, regardless of cause (including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind).

   4. Insofar as is permitted by law, UEFA and its agents and/or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or any participants or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering the Giveaway or accepting the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of UEFA and its agents and/or distributors or their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

   5. UEFA shall be entitled to change or withdraw any of the Prizes at its absolute discretion and for any reason whatsoever (including, but not limited to, any attempt to sell, transfer or exchange any Prize and/or restriction due to the Covid-19 pandemic or other force majeure events).

   6. UEFA shall not be liable to any winner if the Prizes cannot be delivered and/or supplied (including due to a force majeure event such as conflict or war or the Covid-19 pandemic). Further, UEFA will not be responsible for the winner(s) not taking advantage of the Prizes due to ill health or any other reason.

   7. For the avoidance of doubt, the use of any Prizes shall be subject to any relevant third-party service providers’ terms and conditions.

1. Privacy

   1. By entering the Giveaway, UEFA will use the personal data provided at the time of the creation of Your personal MyUEFA account on UEFA.com.

   2. The personal data requested to enter the Giveaway is necessary to make and handle Your participation and/or to be able to award the Prizes.

   3. UEFA may transfer certain personal data of the Winners to an agency, appointed by UEFA for the purpose of organizing the Giveaway and the Prizes. 

   4. UEFA may also need to transfer certain personal data of the Grand Prize Winner and the Secondary Prize Winner to the service providers (e.g. airline and hotel) engaged by or on behalf of UEFA for the purpose of delivering the Grand Prize and Secondary Prize. Each of the Grand Prize Winner and Secondary Prize Winner must provide UEFA with verification of their identity (e.g. passport or official ID card) as well as all other information and documentation necessary to enable UEFA to make the relevant arrangements and to deliver the Grand Prize and Secondary Prize (e.g. name, surname, date of birth for the Winner and their guest as well as the name of their departure airport). 

   5. The personal data gathered is only collected and processed by UEFA for no longer than is necessary for handling Your request/the above requirements, unless otherwise provided by law.

   6. You understand and acknowledge that Your personal data is being collected, processed and supplied during the course of this Giveaway in accordance with UEFA’s Privacy Notice set out at: https://www.uefa.com/privacypolicy/index.html.

   7. Without limiting the above, if You win the Giveaway and accept the Prizes, You and Your guest agree that you may be filmed or photographed and that images and audio-visual footage of You and Your guest may be used by UEFA and their commercial partners for promotional and commercial purposes.

2. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

   1. These Rules and the relationship between You and UEFA shall be governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland. All disputes in connection with these Rules shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nyon, Switzerland.
